Best Friends EVER/Pretzels

Well I was pretty bored on Saturday, (Oct 2nd) and I was watching cartoons w/Hannah when Linds starts txting me. I was just excited to hear from her since her schedule is so crazy. She was asking me what I was doing and yadda yadda yadda.... I really didn't put much thought into the convo b/c thats what they usually are. Well I'm on the computer and I hear a knock on my door. I check the peepole and there is a thumb on it. I think thats weird so I have to put clothes on. (the ones who are closer to me know I usually don't like clothes on unless I'm going somewhere. I usually just have my Dr. Pepper pants on and a sports bra) So I open the door and THERE IS LINDSAY!!! To make it even better, she had a thin mint blizzard for me! I was soooooooooooooooooooooo happy to see her. I kid you not, I almost started crying. It was so nice. She hung out w/me till I had to get Adam. I told Hannah Linds had to go see her parents now and Linds told me they were out of town and she just drove up to see me!!! Again, I almost cried. That just made my day right there. I have the best friends ever! And to top it off... KRISTEN is coming to town! That was meant to be a surprise too, but she's goofy and posted it on FB and I saw it! lol It was an awesome day!

PRETZELS

We were really craving soft pretzels on Sunday, (Oct 3) and we decided to make some! Here is Adam mixing the stuff! We were nervous since we've never made them, but we thought we would try anyways!

Here is this GAWD awful picture of me rolling out the dough so we can make it into the pretzel shape. I look like serious crap! But its fun so oh well!

They look fat but HEY! We're fat and we like pretzels! WORKS FOR US! I had to shape them since Adam couldn't get the hang of it.

You have to boil them before you bake them, we thought that was way weird and were way nervous but Adam did a good job of it.

Final result! They were actually pretty good. We were kinda shocked ourselves! If anyone wants the reciepe let me know! Its actually really easy, but it takes about 2 hrs to make... have to let the yeast rise and all that crap!
