Whoopies!

ateI cannot believe I didn't write ONE blog in Jan. SHAME ON ME! I'm usually good about updating and such. Just so much going on! So let me do my typical update on each of us then go from there!

Adam - Is till working at US Bank. Its stressful but its good for us. They had an audit and the auditor loved him. She thought he had been working at the bank for YEARS, not month. (Will be a year in June) There also has been talk that they want him on salary in 6 months, meaning he is either a co-mgr or mgr. THAT'S AWESOME! I'm so proud of him.

Ashlee - Well I'm STILL looking for a job. But just before New Year's I taught myself to crochet. Now I can't stop! lol My yarn stash is already purdy big! lol I'm pretty boring in the sense I don't really do anything.

Hannah - She is a pistol I tell you what! She has gotten more and more sassy.  We usually have 1 good day a week. That has really been stressing me out. She does get smarter everyday, but just not in the sense she should. Like don't do that stuff. She is definitely a repeat offender.  But her counting is getting better and things like that. So thats awesome. I can't believe she will be 4 next month! UGH! My baby is getting soooo big!

Well that's about it. Here are some pictures we took in Jan.

Its been awhile

I haven't been up to blog lately. I think, "Ooo! I should totally blog that!" and then by the time I get to my computer, I've forgotten or just too tired. So I'll do one of those lame ass updates so you know whats going on.

Adam- Still working for US Bank... (Go in a open an account w/him!). He just found out his old boss from Radio Shack, (The one who hired him and he liked) is now his boss at the bank! (Small world huh) So that should be good for him. Dan (boss) really trusts Adam and they work well with each other.

We had a little scare w/Adam a couple weeks ago. He had a 4 day weekend. (Which was nice, but .... just read on) I ended up getting sick w/like some flu. I was miserable. Well of course then Adam gets sick. REALLY sick! So his whole weekend was shot. Tues... (day he was suppose to be back) he sounds like crap and he is coughing like an old time smoker. He goes into work, they send him home.  Wednesday, he goes in, they send him home again, but told him he had to come in at 3 to cover someones lunch. He says his chest is really tight and he's in pain. Well I kinda freak out and ask him if he wants to go to the hospital. He says yes. So Mom says she will watch Hannah and after I get him, we go. The ER is PACKED! Its so retarded. After an hr or so they take him back to do his vitals and all that junk. They take his blood pressure and its through the roof. So they give him some meds for that after they give him an EKG(?). Back to the waiting room. Around 730, I tell him I have to get Hannah. I call mom and mom tell me she can spend the night. Just bring her some stuff. I go do that. Like 11pm rolls around and we get put in the ER. There are no rooms so we are in the "hallway". Finally like midnight we see the Dr and she just says he has high blood pressure and wants him to be on meds. Go figure. But she said his blood work came back fine and that she would get us a prescription and we can go. So another hr of waiting, we can leave. What a LONG ASS night. But he feels better now that he's on it. Thank goodness!

Me- Well not much for me. I've been working w/this lady and she's been helping me w/my bow website. I must say it looks awesome. Go check it out! www.wix.com/pnkyvixen/bows  She is totally awesome. Thats what I've been trying to focus on. I love making bows, but its sooo hard to start a business when you got like no dinero! So I'm hoping word of mouth my awesomeness will get spread around and I can get more orders. But we shall see.

Hannah- I'm just glad she's finally potty trained! Its such a relief! But now I have to watch her w/the TP. She takes so much and then makes a little ball with it to wipe. Grr... I don't know how many times I've showed her what to do, she's stubborn. I thought she was bad when she was 2, oh man. She has gotten worse. She is a sassy little shit. Always talking back, mouthing off, not listen to a damn word I say... I swear, I just wanna smack her. She is the most opinionated little girl I've ever met. If she doesn't get her way, she does this horrible fake cry which just drives me nuts. ... I know I shouldn't complain about her, and I should be telling you what a wonderful child she is, but I just can't. (Doesn't help she's already been punished today for getting water ALL OVER THE BATHROOM!) So that doesn't help. I'm in a bad mood. She does have her moments where she just comes up to me and says she loves me. I like that Hannah. Wish she would make more appearances in my life. lol Oye vey! Anyhoo...

We are doing good. We're alive and somewhat healthy. (Hannah has ANOTHER ear infection, I think I have a cold) Oh the joys in life! Hope all is well w/you all out there!

Update

Dear family and friends –

I feel so awful that I didn’t mail out my Christmas cards! I had them all addressed and ready to go and then I just forgot to send them! I’m horrible! So I hope this little update will make up for you getting the cards in the middle of January.

Adam – Just got promoted to Store Mgr! After a lot of heresy, it finally came true. He has definitely proved himself that he can run the store and isn’t a complete idiot like the other mgrs that they have hired. So as of February 1st, Adam will be running the million dollar store in Casa Grande. It will be nice that he will be home every nite by 6 so we can all eat together as a family and he will get off early on Saturdays and be totally off on Sundays.

Ashlee – After a year of being laid off, I’m still looking for a job. At first it really bugged me that I wasn’t working and everything, but staying home with Hannah has been great. I missed so much of her first year that I was jealous of my mom. She got to see Hannah’s first steps, hear her first words, all the fun stuff. Some days I wish I was working because she can DRIVE ME NUTS, but most of the time it’s very rewarding. Like when she just come up to me and says, “Mommy, I love you! You’re the best!” How can that NOT make your day? I also started making bows on the side and I have actually sold a few. It’s something I enjoy and I tend to make more for me than sell! If anyone wants to order bows or headbands, check out my website! (Which I made myself!!) www.wix.com/pnkyvixen/bows. Also I have started a blog if anymore wants for current updates. http://theprattfamilyaz.blogspot.com/

Hannah – I can’t believe my baby will be 3 in March! Time flies by so very fast! She’s a very independent little girl. She wants to do everything herself. She talks my ear off all day. She loves to sing along with her favorite shows and music. (She is a HUGE fan of Lady Gaga) I love listening to her when she doesn’t think I’m around. She loves to pretend in her room that she’s a mommy and she takes care of all her animals like they were her babies. It’s so cute to watch. For Christmas, her grandparents (Mama Sally and Papa Sam) got her a kitchen and shopping cart. Mama No No (my mom) got her food. She loves to bring Adam and me food and makes us “eat” it. She’s a very good chef and brings you whatever you want. She just amazes me on how smart she is; except when it comes to one thing. Potty Training. We are really struggling with that. Some days are good, others are horrible. But lots of friends have made me feel better that she’s almost 3 and isn’t potty trained. I just have to be patient I guess! I’m just soooo done with diapers!

I hope this letter has found you all well and we hope to hear from you soon! You can also email us if you like at our family account! Theprattfamilyaz@yahoo.com

We love you all!
