Grandma Audrey

When I was a little girl, when I spent the night at my Great Grandma Audrey's house, in the morning she would always ask me what I wanted for breakfast. I'd ALWAYS tell her pancakes. She would make them into shapes for me. Kitties, mice, Mickey Mouse face, faces... just about anything. (I asked her to make a dolphin once... didn't come out so hot)

I hadn't tried to make pancakes like that in a long time. Hannah's at that age where that would be fun. So when we did breakfast food tonight, I decided thats what I was gonna do. I'm really rusty at making pancakes, let a lone cool ones. But Hannah thought they were great!

Valentine's Day

We didn't want to spend really any money for Valentine's Day since we were going to Cali in a couple weeks so I told Adam we would do cards only! The day before Valentine's Day we went to Wal-Mart to get stuff for the trip. Then Adam told me he wanted to go to Lowe's for some stuff. I thought that was weird but I let it go. We got the stuff we needed and headed over to the movies.  While Adam  was looking at games so I wondered over to were they have the desk displays. I saw a black bookcase. I have wanted a bookcase for like FOREVER and it was just the right size for the apt.  Adam came over and saw it, looked at the price, picked it up and put it in the cart. I told him to stop. He said, "This is cheaper than what I was gonna do. I wanted to go to Lowe's and get stuff to BUILD you a bookcase. But this is WAY cheaper and its nice. So just say thank you." I was so happy. It was a great deal! Only 15 bucks. When we got home he put it together for me.

On Valentine's Day he had to work.  So I made him a card and when he got home he had 2 more things for me. Flowers and a book light. (I have been reading like crazy lately!!) It was perfect! I could use it when we went to Cali and read if him and Hannah wanted to sleep. I got spoiled! He's so sweet!
