I'm a mean Mommy

Hannah has had a really hard time listening the past couple weeks. She will get punished for something and not even 5 minutes later shes doing it again. Adam and I keep telling her if she doesn't start listening we were going to take her toys and tv away. (But we never did) Well this morning I get woke up to this LOUD BANGING and scraping noise. I'm irked so I let her out. She was banging on her wall and playing w/her blinds. I yell and she just doesn't care. Adam catches her and spanks her. She doens't even cry. So she starts messing w/the cat. I've had it. That poor cat gets tortured throughout the day and I'm just sick of yelling at Hannah for it. So I tell her to sit on the couch. I go in, clean her room and take away her tv and dvd player. (Along w/ALL her toys) She comes in and is soooo HAPPY her room is clean. She doesn't even care her toys and tv are gone. I'm sure over the next couple days it will kick in, but it was like she didn't even care. Being a mommy is stressful. I hate punishing her to the extreme but nothing else is working. Grrr
